The Dubai government has recently launched a massive metaverse national strategy with the goal of becoming one of the top 10 metaverse cities in the world and a leading "metaverse nation" in the world. The plan is to quintuple the number of metaverse-related companies, create 40,000 metaverse-related jobs and generate $4 billion in economic benefits within five years. There are currently more than 1,000 metaverse and blockchain-related companies in Dubai, contributing approximately $500 million in economic benefits to the country.

To this end, the WBA World Blockchain Alliance and the World Metaverse Development Alliance are launching the WEB3 Metaverse Tour, with the first stop in Dubai on 3.20 to host the inaugural session of the World WEB3 Summit and the 11th World Metaverse Conference. The conference is expected to attract more than 2,000 international experts, institutional greats and more than 300 international metaverse and WEB3 companies to attend the event. The conference will further promote metaverse and WEB3 industry exchanges and facilitate industry development.
