With the theme of "Development Acceleration of Science and Technology Innovation Engine", the Science and Technology Bay Area Innovation Forum was successfully held on September 2 in the WMA Metaverse conference room. The event is guided by the Enterprise Innovation Service Center of China Association for Science and Technology, hosted by Guangzhou Science and Technology Association, China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Fair Office, supported by Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of Guangzhou Municipal People's Government, and undertaken by Guangzhou Guangzhou-Hong Kong-Macao Cooperation and Exchange Promotion Association.

Liang Gaofeng, a second-level researcher of the Guangzhou Science and Technology Association, delivered an opening speech, emphasizing the importance of technological innovation, especially emerging industries such as Metaverse, which will become a new engine to promote the development of the Greater Bay Area.

The forum specially invited Chen Zhaohui, deputy director of the Blockchain Committee of China Mobile Communications Federation and visiting professor of Tsinghua University, to give a keynote speech on "Business Models and Wealth Opportunities in the Digital Era".
